House Passes Bill to Allow FDA to Regulate Tobacco

In another effort by politicians to take away our rights to smoke legal products, the House of Representatives passed legislation today that would allow the FDA to regulate tobacco. The bill still needs to pass the Senate and then be signed by the President to become law, but if passed, it could spell the end of the domestic tobacco marketplace!
This bill would give broad powers to every level of government to ban the advertising and even the sale of tobacco products if it so wishes. This of course, would put thousands of Mom and Pop business out of business and would destroy those families finances to say the least!
Never before have we seen such heavy handed regulation efforts being undertaken by Congress targeted at a legal product industry. We urge everyone to write, email or call their elected officials and let them know how you feel about this issue.
Here’s hoping there is still a domestic cigar market this time next year!
