New Cigar Advocacy Group!

It appears that cigar smokers have a new advocacy group on the near horizon! Cigar Rights of America (CRA) posted, or we believe they posted a press release recently announcing their new formation and the objectives of the group.
Obviously this group’s aim will be to promote the rights of cigar smokers across this nation and to fight next years SCHIP battle when it is expected to resurface.
The groups website is not yet active, but according to the release it should be ready this week. The groups website is www.cigarrights.org

This should be welcome news to all cigar smokers as there will new and serious battles next year as Congress looks again to find ways to curtail our right to smoke cigars!

Cigar Rights of America has announced the schedule of its five city Rally and Membership Drive being called “Freedom Tour 2008.” The dates and locations are:
August 19 – New York City
August 20 – Minneapolis and Milwaukee
August 21 – Chicago
August 22 – Orlando
